Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize our social media presence across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media trends, digital marketing, and a deep understanding of the target audience. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies that align with our brand’s voice and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to achieve brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation goals.
- Create, curate, and manage compelling content for our social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Monitor and engage with the community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user participation and interaction.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and generate regular reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain innovative and impactful.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and shareable graphics and videos for social media.
- Identify and leverage influencers and partnerships to expand our social media reach.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and relevant conversations to identify new opportunities and ideas.
- Stay informed about emerging social media platforms and recommend their potential incorporation into our marketing mix.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics) to track performance and generate insights.
- Strong creative writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for visual content.
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles as they relate to social media.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and propose innovative ideas.
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising is a plus.
